DOOM – Free Update 4 adds Arcade Mode and more!
The latest and fourth free update for Doom is now live and with it comes an awesome looking Arcade Mode, which should perfectly compliment the games fast and frantic play-style. In Arcade Mode you will playthrough a “streamlined campaign” with all weapons and upgrades unlocked as you compete for the best score against your friends.
The free update will also add two new multiplayer modes with Possession, which pits Prowler Demons against Marines. The other mode is called Blood Rush, which is a new Free-For-All match type. If that wasn’t enough, Classic Modules will also be added to the SnapMap feature so you can add that true old school element to your custom created maps and modes.
The free update should automatically download the moment you fire up Doom with an internet connection. At the very end of the trailer seen below, it also reveals that the next premium content included in the season pass will release on October 27th with Hell Followed.
