Doom releases this May, Limited Edition Announced!

Finally after what seems like an eternity, Bethesda and ID Software has announced the release date for the rebooted Doom and it will be arriving to PC, PS4 and Xbox One on May 13th, which just so happens to be Friday the 13th!

Not only that, but a Collector’s Edition has also been announced, which comes with a Revenant Demon statue and a steelbook case (along with the game of course).  Also for those that pre-order the Collector’s Edition and standard edition, you will be gifted with the Demon Multiplayer Pack.

Details on the Collector’s Edition and Demon Multiplayer Pack can be found below.  As an added bonus, a campaign trailer (as seen above) has been released, along with two new screenshots (as seen below).

The Doom Collector’s Edition includes:

  • An exclusive, fully-realized 12” tall collector’s statue of one of DOOM’s most iconic demons: the Revenant. Made of high-quality PVC and modelled from actual in-game 3D files, the Revenant stands on an LED-lit base with internal, slow-spinning turbine from the UAC facility on Mars.
  • The highly-anticipated game, packaged in an exclusive metal case.
