Dragon-Age-Inquisition

It has been confirmed that EA’s and BioWare’s Dragon Age: Inquisition will feature Kinect voice commands, just as their previous title Mass Effect 3 had.  The Creative Director Mike Laidlaw told Total Xbox that “expecting that Xbox 360 and Xbox One editions will ship with a Kinect-enabled voice command feature, just like Mass Effect 3 did,”  If this was to happen, then it may be safe to assume that the PS4 version may also get some kind of voice command capabilities.

It will be interesting to see how this feature is utilise in the Xbox 360 and Xbox One editions, will they be used to summon powers and spells or perhaps it will be used to issue commands to the NPC’s in your group?  I’m sure we’ll know more in the coming months.

The producer of Dragon Age: Inquisition also hinted at the possibility of the game support SmartGlass by saying “It needs to make sense of course,” he then went on to say “but we want Inquisition to be an experience you can take with you everywhere – to work, the commute home, the living room, bed.”  If the Xbox One version does support SmartGlass, then hopefully that will mean that the PS4 version will also have some sort of second screen capabilities also.

Dragon Age: Inquisition will release during Q4 of this year for the PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
