So the first gameplay footage was shown for the Assassin’s Creed: Unity, which will release on the PC, PS4 and Xbox One.  Assassin’s Creed: Comet is set to release on the PS3 and Xbox 360.

The AC: Unity gameplay footage confirmed the rumoured four player co-op mode and god dam does it look impressive.  Ubisoft claimed way back when the announcement trailer was released that what we saw was in-game, and judging from this E3 footage, it does look very similar indeed.

Not only did the footage look beautiful, but it seemed to run as smoothly as a bold mans conditioned bold scalp.  Ubisoft also revealed that players will be able to start up their very own brotherhood.

Assassin’s Creed: Unity will release October 28th.

Below is the official press release for Assassin’s Creed: Unity
