Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare kicked off Microsoft’s conference with some impressive singleplayer gameplay footage.  In the footage we saw the protagonist Private Mitchell in Sledgehammer Games vision on the future in the year 2054.

The gameplay footage takes place in Seoul of South Korea and the US Marines are quite literally dropped into the heat of the battle.  The gameplay footage is taken from the “Introduction” chapter of the campaign.  During the footage we also saw the EXO suits in action, the Variable Grenades which can switch from Threat Detection, Flash and Explosive, and much more.  The gameplay reveal finished off with Private Mitchell suffering a horrific injury which will surely set the tone for the Advanced Warfare storyline.

As with all Call of Duty games on the Xbox consoles, the DLC for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will arrive first on the Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
