Call-of-Duty-Infinite-Warfare-Announcement-Screen-5

During the PlayStation conference, seven minutes’ worth of campaign footage was on show for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.  The footage showcased space battles (though it did look on rails) and on-foot combat jumping through space and what seemed to be debris from a destroyed space station.  While the footage did look fun, it did seem to be a cross between Call of Duty: Ghosts opening missions, with strong hints of Advanced Warfare/Black Ops III.  I wasn’t particularly overwhelmed, but I wasn’t underwhelmed either.

At the end of the trailer it also shown some gameplay footage for the remastered Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, which will be included in the Legacy Edition of Infinite Warfare.  Now that’s a game that I am getting excited for.  You can check out the new gameplay footage for both games below.

Also, Activision has revealed that if you buy the Infinite Warfare: Legacy bundle that comes with Modern Warfare Remastered, you will be able to play the campaign a good month early from October 5th.  However, this will be just for the campaign only and you’ll have to wait until the official release date in November to play its multiplayer maps.  This deal is also for PS4 only and not for PC or Xbox One.

Recently we learned that Kit Harrington aka Jon Snow from HBO’s Game of Thrones will be the lead villain in Infinite Warfare.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will release for PC, PS4 and Xbox One on November 4th.
