#E32017 Assassin’s Creed: Origins officially announced with gameplay trailer
Finally, Ubisoft dared open up their eyes and officially revealed Assassin’s Creed: Origins to the world. As we already knew and as the title suggests, AC Origins will be an origins tale for the Assassin Brotherhood and will be set in ancient Egypt, and as the rumours suggested, it will be developed by the team behind Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag and feature Navel sea gameplay.
AC Origins will introduce an RPG-like system where you’ll be able to level-up your character, loot, abilities and attire. Also, even though I joked about it in my most recent leaked article, it seems that the eagle that accompanies you is in-fact a playable character of sorts. You’ll be able to send your eagle over nearby locations to effectively scout and mark areas and personnel of interest; I suppose the eagle is kind of like an ancient Egyptian UAV (as mad as that sounds).
A Gold Edition and Deluxe Edition for Assassin’s Creed: Origins was also confirmed (as seen above), along with gameplay videos, screenshots and art work can be found below. As a collector of all things Assassin’s Creed, I hope that Ubisoft will give us a fancy Collector’s Edition too.
Assassin’s Creed: Origins will release for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 27th 2017.
