#E32017 New Destiny 2 trailer, beta details, loads of images and new release dates

At E3 a new story trailer was on show for Destiny 2, that emphasised the new big bad of the series, the leader of the Cabal Red Legion, Gary!  Sorry, I meant to say Ghaul (damn you Cayde-6).  The trailer showcased the Guardians at their absolute peril without the power of the Travellers Light to guide them and this latest trailer wasn’t short of tension and drama, something that I hope translates into the campaign.

We also got a new release date for consoles (two days early) and a date for PC, as well as those all important beta dates.  Destiny 2 will now release for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on September 6th, with the PC version releasing just over a month later on October 24th.

The beta will begin for those that pre-ordered Destiny 2 on PS4 with early access starting on July 18th at 6pm UK time with early access for Xbox One players beginning a day later on the 19th also at 6pm UK.  The beta will then be open to all console players on July 21st (6pm UK) and will conclude July 23rd for everyone at 5am BST.  Dates for the PC beta are yet to be announced, though I’m sure it will be around the same time as its console counterparts.

You can watch the brand new story trailer below.

We also have loads of new screenshots being a mixture of console, PC, Sony exclusive content and art work.  You can find all those images below, along with a PS4 exclusive content trailer.
