EA has announced a brand new tier of Origin Access subscription, called Premier for the PC. Compared to the original tier, this tier will give full access to new EA releases before anyone else, including the upcoming EA Sports releases such as Madden NFL 19, FIFA 19, Battlefield V and Anthem when they release.

Those that purchase the subscription to this tier will be eligible to the benefits of the previous tiers as well such as vault access which includes over 100 games from EA and other publishers. Not to mention the 10% discount on Origin purchases will be still applicable. All of this will only cost $14.99 a month or $99 a year. The price for England and Europe has yet to be confirmed, as is the release date for this tier. However, it will be in time for Madden NFL 19 on the 2nd of August.

Although I was initially sceptical of Origin Access, after subscribing to it for a few months and making good use of its robust library I was finally able to see its appeal, especially with the cheap subscription price. However, I did feel that certain games took too long to come to the platform, so this tier is easily good news.

Some might see the issue with price, but if you work it out for a year, it comes around $99 dollars. So if you manage to finish or enjoy even two games throughout the year from launch it may work out for you as new games can cost $60 alone from EA.
