#E32019 Doom Eternal Reveals New Multiplayer Mode and Story Trailer

At the Bethesda E3 conference for me, the star of the show was Doom Eternal, the follow-up to the brilliant 2016 reboot.  At the show we got a new story trailer, the reveal of a new multiplayer mode and a collector’s edition with a wearable Slayer helmet (though I doubt it would fit my large cranium).

The story trailer is a chaotic as you would imagine, with some fantastically brutal gameplay.  The multiplayer mode in question is called Battlemode, where it puts one supped up human Slayer against two powered-up player demons over three rounds, and it looks great.  You can enjoy both the story and Battlemode trailer below.

Finally we have the Collector’s Edition which not only includes the wearable Slayer Helmet, but it also includes a Deluxe Edition copy of the game, a steelbook created in collaboration with Gabz and Mondo, a Year One Pass which includes two singleplayer expansions, a Demonic Slayer Skin and the Classic Weapons Sound Pack, which brings sound effects from classic Doom games.  Additionally, it also includes a playable cassette tape, plus two download codes for the Doom (2016) and Doom Eternal soundtracks, a Doom Lore Book and lastly, a 11”x17” The Gift of the Agent Power Lithograph.  It sure does include a lot of content and comes in at £199.99.

Doom Eternal will bring hell on earth on November 22nd for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
