#E32019 Fallout 76 Major Updates Maybe Saving Grace, But Is It All Too Little Too Late?

After digging a deeper hole since it launched last year, Bethesda has been working very hard to win back the trust of their fans and while they may have a fair bit to go, they are it seems making good strides with Fallout 76 from the outside in.

With two free major updates, the first being Wastelanders, this not only makes various quality of life improvements and new quests, but it will also add NPC’s to interact with and choices that will affect the outcome of the world you play in.  So in other words, when this update arrives, Fallout 76 should be well, more like Fallout.  And while I appreciate these features, these are basics that should have always been in the game to begin with.  Wastelanders will arrive this Fall.

Secondly is the Nuclear Winter update, which will bring a 52-player, PvP Battle Royale mode.  Teams of four players will battle it out against one another in order to claim the spot of the Overseer of Vault 51.  As you rank up in Nuclear Winter, you will earn in-game items that can be carried over into the main campaign.  But what really concerns me, is Fallout 76 going to be able to fill the Battle Royale servers on a consistent basis?  Nuclear Winter is available now.

Will these updates be enough to tempt you back?  Or is it all too little too later?  Let us know across our social media channels.
