E3 is always a time of shocking news and surprises as many a developer and publisher alike, uses the convention to show of its upcoming wares for the very first time. However, E3 is also a time of leaks, and as it happens FromSoftware’s newest RPG, unfortunately for all involved, has leaked quite sometime ago.

The RPG in question is titled Elden Ring – just as the leaks revealed. And just as the quote-on-quote insiders have stated, the title at hand has been created in cooperation with George R. R. Martin, and judging by the title, the author is clearly trying to take in some of that Lord of The Rings clout, after the rather pathetic finale of Game of Thrones.

The reveal of Elden Ring came with a cinematic trailer, which in truth, doesn’t really tell us much about the game. But considering that it is a FromSoftware product, then I can tell you right now that you are going to be dodging with circle, blocking with L1, and attacking with the right-hand side shoulder buttons. Oh, and before I forget, you are also going to be dying a lot. That is unless you are just like me, and have beaten Sekiro dying less than a dozen of times on your first playthough.

Elden Ring, will be released episodically over the period of 9 years. And will consist of eight chapters, where the final one will be a bitter disappointment. But all jokes aside, there is no set in stone release date for this particular game, but judging by the lack of gameplay, we can expect Elden Ring to hit the streets in the latter half of 2020 fpr PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
