We finally have the first in-game (engine) footage from Avengers, and it has split the team before the game has even started! The game revolves around a tragic day where an untested experiment goes off, levelling the city due to a nefarious organisation trying to steal it. The people end up blaming the Avengers, and the group is disbanded, not to mention Captain America appears to be dead.

However, they are forced to put their differences aside when 5 years later an even bigger event threatens humanity, prompting the Avengers to assemble once more. The game will be story focused, and players will get to play as Captain America, Iron Man, Black Widow, Thor or Bruce Banner AKA The Incredible Hulk at launch.

Supporting the characters is an equally mighty cast, with Nolan North as Iron Man, Troy Baker as Bruce Banner/Hulk, Laura Bailey as Black Widow, Travis Willingham as Thor and Jeff Schine as Captain America.  It is worth noting that the game will allow you to customise these characters with different outfits and more to truly make them stand out.

The game will support co-op and does seem to have elements of a live-service game as more content and characters were announced to be getting added post-launch. Fortunately, they did make a point that the game would not have any loot boxes or paid DLCs as everything will be available to everyone for free.

Marvel Avengers will be available for the PC, PS4, Xbox One and Stadia on the 15th of March, 2020.
