English Voice of Ryo in Shenmue 1 & 2 Returns for Shenmue 3!

 

It has been announced via the latest Kickstarter update for Shenmue 3 that the English voice of Ryo (Corey Marshall) from the first two games makes his return for the long awaited 3rd outing.  The Japanese voice of Ryo; Masaya Matsukaze has already been confirmed for Shenmue 3, so this is great news for all fans.

The Kickstarter update stated that “Corey is as excited for Shenmue’s return as we all are, and to help out, he has magnanimously offered his voice for a special reward. Yes, that’s right–get a personal message from Ryo!  Do not miss this opportunity to get a very special message from Ryo himself. Maybe one those classic Ryo one-liners?”

At this time Shenmue 3 is scheduled for a 2017 release for the PC and PS4.
