Escape: Dead Island Release Date Announced & Grants Access To Dead Island 2 Beta

The release date for the Dead Island spin-off; Escape: Dead Island has been announced. It will be hitting the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 on November 18th in North America and the 21st everywhere else. If you’re unsure as to whether you will pick up this third person prequel, then you may be tempted to know that those who pre-order and purchase Escape: Dead Island will be guaranteed access to the Dead Island 2 beta, which will be developed by Yager, the team behind Spec-Ops: The Line.
As an added bonus, a new trailer for Escape: Dead Island has been released, which you can find above. Also the folks at Eurogamer got a chance to interview creative director at Yager for Dead Island 2; Jorg Friedrich. You can find that interview below, which also includes gameplay footage, along with some new Escape: Dead Island Screenshots.
Dead Island 2 is expected to release spring of 2015 for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
