The new Survival Mode for Fallout 76 is available right now for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.  The mode which is slated to be in its beta stage at launch is a PvP mode separate from that of the main game.

Fallout 76’s Survival Mode will offer rewards via its weekly challenges, such as legendary items.  Upon death, you will lose a random amount of items that you carry.  You will also earn double your Cap rewards when you kill an opponent, though you will also loose double the Caps on death.  However, if you’re feeling rather pissed and bitter about being killed in a PvP mode, you can choose to spend a portion of the Caps you still have, by placing a Bounty on your killer.

Changes will also be made to the Fast Travel features, such as limiting Fast Travel to Vault 76, your C.A.M.P, Train Stations or Workshops that you might own, the same also applies to being respawned.  Also when Fast Travelling or being respawned, you will be invulnerable for a brief time, but firing your weapon will remove that invulnerability.  The Fallout 76 Survival Mode will also include online leaderboard support, which highlights how long players have survived before being killed.
