First Borderlands 2 Single Player DLC To Arrive Next Week

Borderlands 2 is receiving its first piece of single player DLC on October 16th Associated Press reports, and it’s not zombies, but pirates, interested now are we? The campaign is entitled “Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate’s Booty” and will take players across a vast desert and features a bandit town called Oasis. As with all pirate stories, it seems as though it is based around the legend of treasure, but with Borderlands 2 this makes a lot of sense.

The campaign will feature new enemies, a new vehicle called the sand skiff and new currency named seraph crystals. The DLC promise to account for new players and high end level players. Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate’s Booty will cost $9.99 (~£6/800MSP) or free for those who purchased the season pass.

Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate’s Booty will be available on October 16th for PC, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.
