Milestone Games have released the first of three developer diaries for their upcoming title Sebastien Loeb Rally Evo, which is due out in autumn this year. In the near 4 minute video, the team discuss what studies have gone into making the game as real as possible, both in terms of the cars and tracks.

Players will have the chance to race in over 50 cars, ranging from models in the 1960’s to the cars of today. Although they haven’t mentioned which models exactly, it seems as though Milestone are trying to provide rally fans with the chance to choose their favourite cars from any time period. In addition to the attention to detail on the cars, Milestone has also put plenty of effort into making the tracks as realistic as possible, with an emphasis on rally cross especially.

At this stage, Sebastien Loeb Rally Evo is sounding very promising as Milestone have great experience with racing titles thanks to their recent versions of MXGP and MotoGP. It seems to have been a few years since the WRC series was enjoyable and hopefully Sebastien Loeb Rally Evo can satisfy fans of the off-road racing.

Sebastien Loeb Rally Evo will be available on Xbox One and PS4 later this year.

They’re doing a great job. It looks monstrously realistic and it seems there would be a lot of stages. They’re revealing a lot of features on their page and I found out some preview on this one https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100009634742124&fref=ts
