First gameplay from BioShock creators new title Judas released
We’ve had to wait a while, but the first gameplay for the upcoming title from the creators of BioShock has been released with Judas.
We were first introduced to Judas in December 2022, but now we’ve seen the game in action and it looks very much like the BioShock spiritual successor that we thought it would. Which isn’t a bad thing.
Developed by Ghost Story Games, Judas is a narratively-driven first-person shooter directed by Ken Levine with the help of former developers from Irrational Games.
“The “Who is Judas” trailer offers a deeper look at the game’s setting aboard the Mayflower, a spacefaring city whose citizens are trained to tear each other apart for even the most minor infractions, and where machines control every aspect of business, art, and government,” reads the press release. “You, as Judas, are the driver of every event in a mysterious story with a new cast of characters to get to know – and to change – in a world where every decision you make affects how the story unfolds.”
Judas is expected to be released in 2025 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
