The majority of gamers are more than likely excited for GTA V and who can blame them, after all GTA games are for the most part masterpieces, but here are a list of things that I think GTA V could improve on from the last instalment in the series GTA IV
  • More Variety – Remember the bank robbery mission in GTA IV, who doesn’t. Let’s be honest, that was one of the highlights of the game since it was exciting, it was tense and above all else it was different. Most missions in GTA IV were based around driving or shooting, and sure so was the bank robbery, but name another game that has done it so well. The point is, every mission in GTA V should be like this, something that players have not experienced before.
  • Multiple story paths GTA IV had one or two moments where you as Niko Bellic would have to make a big choice that would affect the game’s story, to a point, but it wouldn’t drastically change the outcome at the end. Imagine if it did and there were more of those choices, not only would it encourage multiple playthroughs, but it would also make us care more about the characters and what happens to them. Sure we remember Niko Bellic and cared about his progression as a character, and a few of his friends such as Jacob, but in the end the main focus was on Niko, and the decisions only impacted him. If there were multiple story paths maybe every character would be affected in one way or another.
  • Customisation – Nothing that I bought, either clothes or weapons, felt like mine, as I knew that thousands of people would have the same look as me. The character I control should feel like my character, and though I’m not saying copy Saints Row and have an insane amount of options when it comes to say clothing, it would be nice to have more control of my appearance. The same with weapons, it would be great to have a weapon like the AK-47 and put a scope on it, adapting a weapon to any situation that you find yourself in. It would also be great to see car customisation, similar to what was seen in Grand Theft Auto San Andreas, whereby you could hijack a car, take it to a place where you could change multiple aspects on how it looked visually, but maybe in GTA V it could be improved so that players can change the performance of the given vehicle.

  • Side MissionsGTA IV had some great side missions, such as assassinations and the random encounters you would have with certain NCP’s that would give you bizarre missions. I have no complaint here I just WANT TO SEE MORE!!!!
  • Fun – Now I’m not saying GTA IV wasn’t fun, but it was missing that over the top fun factor that could be found in Grand Theft Auto San Andreas, where you could just mess around and cause mayhem. Why not bring it back, but this time reward the player for it, just like in Saints Row The Third where you can get in a tank and just cause as much mayhem as you can in the time limit, whilst getting money for it. GTA IV was a serious game and I give it kudos for that, but sometimes we all just want to have some fun!

So there it is, if you guys can think of any more things you would love to see in GTA V then let us know in the comments below. For the latest rumours on GTA V click here.
