Forza Motorsport 7 goes Gold and Playable Demo arriving this month

Ken Block

Microsoft Studios and Turn 10 has announced that Forza Motorsport 7 has gone Gold, which means that the game has finished its main stage of development and is just about ready to ship to retail.  To coincide with the Gold announcement, as revealed last month, the date for the playable demo has also been announced, which will be available for Xbox One and PC on September 19th.

In the playable demo, you’ll be able to test the Forza Motorsport 7 cover car; the Porsche 911 GT2 RS, as well as the Nissan NISMO GT-R LM and the Mercedes-Benz Tankpool racing truck.  The racing circuits available will be the new Dubai circuit, the Jebel Hafeet Pass, Italy’s Mugello circuit and the legendary Nürburgring Grand Prix circuit.  The demo will also cater for various difficulties and driving assists and PC players will be able to tweak their settings to their hearts content (more details here).

Adam Corolla

Also if that wasn’t enough, a new trailer has been released, which features comedian and CarCast host Adam Corolla, professional driver Ken Block and “passionate gamers” all playing in a unique form of Musical Chairs, oh and we get a snippet of gameplay too.

Forza Motorsport 7 will release on October 29th for Xbox One and Windows 10 for those that pre-order the Ultimate Edition and September 3rd for those that pre-order the Deluxe and standard editions.
