Free Horde Mode Update Now Live in World War Z

A free content update is now live for co-op shooter, World War Z.  The update will add the fan-requested Horde mode, which to be honest, is pretty much the concept of the game anyway, however this particular mode will have more of an emphasis on this element.

As with most modes of this kind, the horde difficulty will increase the longer you and your team-mates survive, but so too will your endgame rewards.  Horde Mode Z will be broken up into rounds and during the intermissions, not only will you be able to catch your breath, but you’ll also be to upgrade your attack and defences, as well as scavenge for loot before all hell breaks loose once more.

Horde Mode Z will also introduce a new zombie type known as “The Bomber”, which will explode once downed, so you best get out of its radius as quick as you can.  Below you can watch a developer video that gives us an added insight as to what to expect with this latest update.
