Gamescom: New Batman Arkham Origins Trailers Shows The Batcave & Batwing In Action

A new gameplay trailer has been released for Batman: Arkham Origins and it’s entitled the ‘Nowhere to Run’ and it reveals a new characters named ‘Firefly’. Yesterday we brought you the story of some new images from gaming magazine GamesTM that featured the Batcave and the Wayne family’s faithful butler, Alfred. To save you the brief hassle of clicking the link, I will include all those screenshots in this very articles.

Now let’s get back to the new trailer shall we? As I’ve mentioned, this latest trailer features some new gameplay footage and showcased an impressive cast of characters and locations. Namely the Batcave and the Batwing (and I’m really hoping that we get to drive the Batmobile in Arkham Origins).

During this gameplay trailer we also see some of the assassins after Batman’s head that have been ordered by Black Mask, such as The Joker, Deathstroke, Copper Head and more. Interestingly the video also featured a tease of the famous Batman and Bane back break incident. So with Arkham Origins being an ‘Origins’ story (stating the obvious), perhaps we will get to play out that incident? One last key character that featured in this trailer was good old Commissioner Gordon and we see Bats and Gordon interact with one another, which looks to be the first stage of their working relationship.

If there’s one thing that this latest trailer has achieved, is that it’s raised some exciting questions and without any doubts, has got our inner geek buzzing with excitement.
