Microsoft kicked-off their Gamescom 2019 with a whole host of Gears of War 5 goodness. We got a new story trailer, gameplay and further details on the Horde mode, and we even learned that Gears 5 will have Halo: Reach DLC featuring Kat and Emile as playable characters in the Horde mode. Kat and Emile now join Sarah Connor and a Terminator from the forthcoming Terminator Dark Fate movie as pre-order DLC.
Gears 5 will release for Xbox One and PC via Steam on September 10th or on the 6th for those that subscribe to Xbox Game Pass. You can watch all the recent gameplay videos and a development diary below.
