Get Ready For A New Batman Experience With The Gotham City Imposters Release Date And Open Beta

Already finished Arkham City? Warner Bros. hope you will soon as today they have announced the release date for their next Batman title. Arriving on the 10th January 2012 as a downloadable title for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC, this might be a little different than what you are used to seeing from the series.

Taking a completely different approach, more akin to that of ‘Team Fortress 2’, ‘Gotham City Imposters’ will allow you to join either the Bats or Jokerz, offering up a huge variety of customisation as you take to the streets of Gotham with homemade gadgets and wide range of tradtional weapon in multiplayer deathmatch and team based modes.

The title is being developed over at Monolith, whose most recent work includes both the F.E.A.R and Condemned series (with the exception of F.3.A.R, and F.E.A.R Files). This is definately a different experience than what we would expect from them, but definately unique.
