Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered Dated for October

Back in May, the rumoured Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered was confirmed to be true.  While this is by no means a remake or a very in-depth remaster it seems, I am still very much looking forward to replaying this game with jazzed up HD visuals on the current generation of consoles.

When Ghostbusters: The Video Game released on the previous generation, the story was written by Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis, with it essentially acting as the follow-up to the original two movies.  The story has you playing as an unnamed rookie, joining the Ghostbusters ranks with Peter Venkman, Raymond Stanz, Egon Spengler and Winston Zeddemore.  The game also boasts the original voice-cast of all four Ghostbusters, as well as Annie Potts as Janine and William Atherton as Walter Peck.

Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered will release for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch on October 4th.  Are you looking forward to this re-release?  Let us know across our social media channels.
