Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered Officially Announced

Following rumours and an appearance on some international rating boards, Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered has been officially announced, a remastering of the 2009 original.  Then developed by the now non-existant Terminal Reality, the story of this video game acted as a follow-up to the Ghostbusters 2 movie, and was written by Dan Aykroyd and the late Harold Ramis.  It also co-starred the two, as well as Bill Murray and Ernie Hudson all lending their voices to the characters they played in the movies.

This remaster will be handled by Saber Interactive, who is responsible for World War Z, Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary and Quake ChampionsGhostbusters: The Video Game Remastered will have improved textures and lighting, revamped cut-scenes and 4K resolution for compatible systems.  However, there is no word of the multiplayer mode being included, so assume that it won’t be.

No release date has been given for Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered as of yet, but it will release this year for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC, and yes, it will be exclusive to the Epic Store.
