Just in case you didn’t know, this week will see the big multiplayer reveal for the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto V.  In fact the big reveal is this Thursday, so we’ll be sure to keep you updated.  So with this week being a lot about GTAV, we have various pieces of news making the rounds on the internet.  For instance, we have a batch of new screenshots, news regarding the DLC being region locked and other news regarding a PC port.

Let’s start off with the GTAV DLC being region locked (which if we’re honest, is no real surprise).  This news comes via the Rockstar Support page. As you may know, all PS3 games are region free and so are many Xbox 360 games, but should you import GTAV from another country and buy the DLC from your homeland, you’ll be at risk of that DLC not being compatible with your imported copy of GTAV.  So just to be on the safe side, it may be wise to purchase your copy from your home region.

It has also been revealed that according to Nvidia, a PC port of GTAV is arriving this fall, that’s if the words of Nvidia’s Senior Director of Investor Relations, Chris Evenden is to be believed (that’s one hell of a title), here’s what he said to Seekingalpha.com:

“The PC market is evolving. As entry level laptops face pressure from tablets. Yet sales of specialty PCs like gaming systems and work stations continue to grow. The disparity reflects how consumers use these different classes of PCs. Many consumers look for PC as a general purpose device they can use for browsing, email, social media video. But much of this can be better served by a tablet. In contrast, gamers are preparing their systems for a strong roster of games coming this fall, including blockbuster franchises, such as Call of Duty: Ghosts, Grand Theft Auto V and Assassin’s Creed IV.”

The PC port of GTAV has always been widely expected, but at least news is starting to look more official and I know the Mighty PC Master Race will be very happy indeed with this news.

Now let’s finish off with some beautifully rendered screenshots shall we…oops did I just say rendered screenshots?.  I was meant to say beautiful in-game and un-rendered screenshots (either way they look awesome).
