At E3 last month, we got to see a little more of Anthem, EA’s attempt to get in on the Destiny/The Division shared-world shooter genre.  However, other than some trailers, the gameplay demo at EA Play wasn’t shown in its fullest, at least to the audience watching at home.  Thankfully EA has now released the gameplay demo that was on show at E3, which is just shy of 20 minutes long.

In the gameplay demo seen below, Lead Producer on Anthem at BioWare, Ben Irving, walks and talks us through the action during the freelance mission “Scares & Villainy” as we also get to see the “terrifying” Swarm Tyrant.  EA has also proudly announced that Anthem took home a total of five awards from E3 2018, such as the Best PC Game and Best Action Game.  EA has also promised to reveal more gameplay and details leading up to the games release early next year.

Anthem will release for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on February 22nd or as early access for subscribers of Origin Access and EA Access from February 15th.
