The creators of Doom, Quake and Rage, id Software are now hiring for a next gen game according to Now Gamer. One of the interesting requirements of the job is the fact that candidates must be familiar with id Software games, characters, brands and universes. This could possibly point towards a sequel then, which would either possibly be Doom 4 or Rage 2, but with the upcoming re release of Doom 3 BFG edition coming this October, it’s highly possible that the release is to get people excited with the franchise. With Quakecon coming next month, id Software will potentially be talking about future projects then. It is of course entirely possible that they could be working on a new ip, but Doom 4 would surely be a big hit for them.

Doom 3 BFG edition is coming October 19th on Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC.

What would you be more excited for? Rage 2, Doom 4 or a new ip? Let us know in the comments below.
