Update 23/02/17: Invader Games has provided an update stating that all digital game rewards will give you the choice between PC, PS4 and Xbox One.  Daymare: 1998 will also give you the choice of having a fixed camera in-game, giving you that true old-school Survival Horror feel.  You can check out all the details on how to back the campaign and show your support here.

Original Story 16/02/17: Back in December, indie developers Invader Studios announced plans to begin a Kickstarter campaign to aid the development of Daymare: 1998.  The game which began as a Resident Evil 2 remake project, evolved into its very own beast after Capcom required the developers to cancel the project as they were working on an official remake of Resident Evil 2.  However, Capcom did invite Invader to their studios and gave insight into developing Survival Horror games, which resulted in valuable experience when creating Daymare: 1998.

On the Daymare: 1998 Kickstarter page, you can pledge anything between €1, right up to €7,000.  Each and every pledge value comes with their own unique rewards and from as little as €12 (just over £10), you can bag yourself a digital copy of the game.  As long as Invader Studios reach their stretch goals, the digital code rewarded from eligible pledges will grant the option of receiving a code for console, as well as for PC if you choose.

You can check out all the details over at the Daymare: 1998 Kickstarter page here and you can watch a video from the development team below explaining what this project means to them and their creative influences such as Resident Evil, The Evil Within and Dead Space.  You can also keep updated on the official Invader Studios Facebook page.
