Jason Voorhees Included In Mortal Kombat X DLC, Happy Friday 13th!
The rumours have been floating around for a while now, but now it is officially confirmed that Jason Voorhees from the slasher horror movie franchise Friday the 13th will be included as DLC for Mortal Kombat X, which makes it the perfect announcement for today’s date.
You will be able to have access to Jason by picking up the MKX Kombat Pack, which will include four new characters (including Jason), as well as a variety of accompanying skins. The Kombat Pack will cost £24.99 and will grant you early access to its DLC, before becoming available as individual purchases. Presumably you will also be gaining a little discount by purchasing the Kombat Pack, rather than picking up each DLC separately.
As an added bonus, those that buy the Kombat Pack will also be gifted with the Samurai Pack, which includes three new character skins for Ronin Kenshi, Samurai Shinnok and Jingu Kitana. Hopefully NetherRealm Studios and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment will release a series of trailers leading up to the games release for the three remaining characters in the season pass content.
Mortal Kombat X will release April 14th for the PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
