As the timer ran down, Day For Night Games managed to secure under half of the Kickstarter funding it required to get its surreal fourth dimensional ‘timey-wimy’ game The Black Glove successfully backed. In an update from the ex-Bioshock team they wished to thank everyone involved but advised that they would not be starting another campaign to seek further money.

All is not doom and gloom as the company “mean to fight like hell to keep it from being cancelled” by reaching out seeking potential partners for getting the title published. Creative Director Joe Fielder went on to urge backers and fans to sign-up for the news letter at the official site or follow on twitter for further updates on The Black Glove.

The game would have seen you play as a curator to a 1920’s theatre called The Equinox. Your job would have you traversing time to alter the past aiming to restore the site, and it’s failing artistic residents, to a prime whilst avoid roaming creatures.

The Black Glove was intended for launch on PC and Mac. A PS4 version was later added to the Kickstarter campaign along with plans for Oculus Rift support.
