Great news for PC gamers, as the console only Killer Is Dead is finally making its way onto PC on the 9th of May, and with a special edition as well. Titled “Nightmare Edition”, it will come with extra features such as, a new “nightmare” difficulty, which prevents you from killing the enemy easily, access to the Smooth Operator Pack which will unlock itself after you complete episode 3, and theatre mode which will allow you to re-watch cutscenes and get extended background information on characters, helping to unravel the story after your first playthrough.

Killer Is Dead is set in a not-so-distant future, similar to (but not the same as) the world we know now. The player takes control of an executioner named Mondo Zappa who wields a Japanese sword in his right hand and brandishes interchangeable weapons in his artificial left  arm. His ultimate goal is to execute various heinous criminals scattered around the world and beyond.

Completely unique visuals and outstanding stylish action come together to deliver an unprecedented gaming experience in Killer Is Dead. The action title is being jointly developed by Kadowkawa Games and Grasshopper Manufacture, with Suda51 lending his trademark sense of style at the helm and Akira Yamaoka once again showing his brilliance through the game’s hectic music.
