Konami has announced that they have renewed their partnership with Arsenal FC for this year’s Pro Evolution Soccer instalment.  As Konami do not have the licensing prowess to the likes of EA with the FIFA series, renewing and finding new partnerships with individual football teams are of the utmost importance with Arsenal being one of their most important in England.

This renewed deal will mean that player likenesses, playing styles, kits, the Emirates Stadium, team sponsorships and so forth will have added attention to detail to make Arsenal as authentic as they possibly can be.  Konami already have a deal in place with FC Barcelona and expect many more partnerships to be announced from across the world in the coming months leading up to the games release.  Hey Konami, how about striking up a deal with my beloved Aston Villa (nudge, nudge, wink, wink).

Pro Evolution Soccer 2020 or eFootball PES 2020 as it’s known this year will release for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on September 10th.
