Kotal Kahn and Jacqui Briggs, Beta Trailers for Mortal Kombat 11
Mortal Kombat X’s Kotal Kahn has been announced as the latest playable character for MK11 (even though we’ve seen him already in previous gameplay trailers). An Osh-Tekk warrior and Emperor of the Outworld, Kotal Kahn must once again form an unlikely allegiance if he is ever going to stop the evil Raiden from imposing his reign of tyranny across the realms. But with tensions running high within his Kingdoms, Kotal Kahn already has enough trouble on his plate.
In the gameplay trailer below, we not only see Kotal Kahn in-action, but we also get another look at Jacqui Briggs (daughter of Jax), including her brutal fatality.
Finally for those that pre-order on PS4 and Xbox One, you will be granted access to the closed beta on Wednesday, March 27th at 3pm GMT and will end of Monday, April 1st at 7:59am GMT. During the beta you’ll be able to play as five characters, including Baraka, Jade, Kabal, Scarlet and Scorpion. You’ll also be able to check out the Custom Character Variation System, where you’ll be able to customise skins, gear, abilities, taunts, brutalities, and even a characters Intro and Victory cinematic’s.
Game modes in the beta will include online multiplayer matches, as well as the singleplayer mode Towers of Time aka the Challenge Tower. To get access to the beta, you’ll have to pre-order Mortal Kombat 11 for either the PS4 or Xbox One. Mortal Kombat 11 will release for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch from April 23rd.
