Lego The Hobbit Will Release This April
According to Digital Spy and then confirmed to Eurogamer, Lego The Hobbit will release for the PC, PS3, PS4, 3DS, Wii U, Xbox 360 and Xbox One on April 8th in North America and then the 11th across Europe.
As with all Lego games, Lego The Hobbit will feature a huge roster of playable and unlockable characters, and you will be free to explore Middle Earth once more. In addition Lego The Hobbit will feature a new looting system, in which players will be able to gather resources such as metals, stones and wood and craft them into new items. An instruction manual based mini-game that features in The Lego Movie Videogame will also now appear in Lego The Hobbit.
As much as I cannot wait for Lego The Hobbit, I am still finding it odd that they would release the game before the third movie instalment is even released at the cinema. Will they release extra DLC to compensate or will there be a complete trilogy retail release? Who knows, I guess only time will tell. Either way I cannot wait to venture into Middle Earth once again this coming April
