Every time Olivier Deriviere is mentioned, his resulting product is nothing far from innovative (Alone in the Dark, Remember Me, AC: Freedom’s Cry), and that looks to be especially the case with his next project, Get Even.

One of the most interesting things about how Olivier is approaching the music for Get Even is its genre. Get Even is to be a cutting edge Sci-Fi thriller soaked in psychological horror and with something like that you’d usually hear electronic samples and percussions crowding its soundtrack, but not here. Rather than going for something completely electronic, Olivier has surprisingly decided to build up on an orchestral approach and from what has been heard in the latest trailer for the game, it sounds absolutely powerful.

Be sure to check out the trailer to listen to snippets of the music yourself, and to find out exactly how Olivier is planning to give gamers’ a unique listening experience. Get Even will release for the PC, PS4 and Xbox one on the 26th of May later this year.
