Marvel’s Avengers Collector’s Edition Revealed
As do most major games these days, Marvel and Square Enix’s Avengers will be getting a Collector’s Edition. We can’t help but feel it is somewhat lacking as most of the items included in the bundle can be found as merchandise in most other places, especially since this is a property with a stagnant merchandise market. So, it does feel like the publisher should have put more effort into making the items unique and something you can’t find elsewhere.
The Marvel’s Avengers Earth’s Mightiest Edition comes with the following:
- A deluxe edition of Marvel’s Avengers
- Exciting 72-hour early access to the game, meaning you can play as early as September 1st
- Iron Man Prototype Armour Blueprints
- A Collector’s Edition Steelbook
- Black Widow Belt Buckle
- 12-inch Captain America Statue
- Mjolnir Keychain
- 6-inch Hulk Bobblehead
- An honorary Avenger Pin
- 5 x 7 cm Avengers Day Group Photo
The Collector’s Edition isn’t the only non-standard edition that will be available for the game, as a Deluxe version was also announced. In the UK, via game, it comes with:
- A Steelbook (this is available with the standard edition as well)
- Exclusive Obsidian Outfit Pack offering a new look for the Avengers
- An Obsidian themed plate
- 1-month free Marvel unlimited
Currently, GAME has the Deluxe Edition listed for £80, the standard edition for £55 and the Collector’s Edition for a whopping £210. After the recent delay, the game will now be available on the 1st of September, later this year for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
