Mass Effect Andromeda trailer shows-off some multiplayer
During a short, but sweet pre-order bonus trailer for Mass Effect: Andromeda detailing a Deep Space Explorer Armour, a Nomad skin and a Multiplayer Booster Pack, the trailer also showed-off some brief gameplay footage of its multiplayer component.
While the trailer doesn’t show a lot of gameplay during its brief stint, it feeds us enough to know that the mode, much like Mass Effect 3, looks to be a wave-based survival mode. I know that’s pretty generic, but I’m not sure how I’d feel about the Mass Effect series having a full ‘Deathmatch/Capture the Flag type multiplayer component. Though the idea of intergalactic space battle dog fights does sound pretty epic.
In the trailer seen below, we see the use of Biotic powers, as well as a Krogan performing a ground pound special move. I’m guessing that now this trailer has caught some diverted attention, EA and BioWare might just release a trailer dedicated to Mass Effect: Andromeda’s multiplayer before release.
Mass Effect: Andromeda will release for PC, PS4 and Xbox One from March 21st. Also, those that subscribe to EA Access, will play able to play the full game days before its release for a duration of 10 hours, in which time you can plough through missions and even earn achievements.
