Update: Out Now – Metal Gear Online expansion ‘Cloaked in Silence’ dated
Update 15/03/16: Cloaked in Silence is available now for PS4 and Xbox One (sadly it does not seem to be available for PC, PS3 or Xbox 360). The Cloaked in Silence DLC which includes three new maps and the character Quiet for Metal Gear Online is priced at £3.29 or you can buy a complete bundle which includes all Appeal Packs and 550 Motherbase Coins. Each piece of DLC is also available individually (details below). To announce its release, Konami has also released a new trailer.

Original Story 02/03/16: The next expansion pack for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain ‘Cloaked in Silence’ is set to release for all available formats on March 15th. Cloaked in Silence will add four new multiplayer maps to Metal Gear Online with the Coral Complex, Rust Palace and the Azure Mountain, it will also add Quiet as a playable character. Hopefully we’ll get a Shadow Moses map soon?
The expansion will also include an additional mode called Survival, where teams will compete against one another in order to achieve the highest score streak to win the game, the greater the streak, the greater the reward. While you can purchase Cloaked in Silence to gain unlimited access to all its content, all players can try out all the new maps in Survival for up to 10 times per day. The free number of attempts will then reset every Tuesday during the scheduled maintenance.
