Minecraft-like Lego Worlds has been in Steam’s Early Access stage since June of last year, but now Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has announced that it’s finally getting ready to come to consoles early next year, as well as becoming its full version via Steam.

Developed once more by TT Games, Lego Worlds will release in its full form for PC, PS4 and Xbox One on February 24th.  In Lego Worlds you get to create your own world, as you are the Master Builder.  Create characters, vehicles, buildings, structures, while discovering new creatures and stories in this open-world of imagination.  Obviously there will always be a teething stage and tweaking following release, but it will be interesting to see if it gives Minecraft a good run for its money, even though that will be a huge task.

There will also be a Lego Agents DLC Pack available for all formats; however, it will be exclusive to the PlayStation 4 for 90 days.

To mark the console announcement, Warner Bros. and TT Games has released a batch of new screenshots and an announcement trailer, as seen below.  Are you looking forward to Lego Worlds?  Let us know in the comments section below.
