Mortal Kombat 11 Gets a Ranked Kombat League, Available Now

Starting today is a seasonal ranked mode for Mortal Kombat 11 with the all-new Kombat League.  This is an optimised ranking system that will pit players against one another, of all skill levels, to climb up the ranks and win exclusive gear for MK11.  The Kombat League begins today via a free update.

The Kombat League will take place over a four-week period as you attempt to climb up the nine tiers.  Rankings will go from Apprentice to Elder God, and the matchmaking system will help ensure that players will be put against other players of similar skill-levels, as you work your way up-to fight the best of the best.  They’ll also be daily and season quests, as well as the league itself to earn bonus items.  Once that four-week season is over with, a new one will begin with new rewards.

Additionally, the first of six playable characters, Shang Tsung will be available today as part of the Kombat Pack, then he’ll be available to purchase for everyone else a week today, you’ll also be able to download some Klassic Mortal Kombat skins today too.  Then fellow Mortal Kombat veterans Nightwolf and Sindel will arrive, as well as Todd McFarlane’s Spawn.  It is also expected that the remaining two characters will be a Terminator and Ash from The Living Dead.
