Mortal Kombat X Announced With Stunning Trailer! #WhosNext
For the past week or so, the co-creator of the Mortal Kombat series and creative director of NetherRealm Studios Ed Boon has been teasing us with both a new Injustice title and of course Mortal Kombat. Well now coming directly from Ed Boon’s Twitter account, he has now officially confirmed the next Mortal Kombat title in the long running and iconic series.
It will be called Mortal Kombat X (obviously the X representing the 10th instalment in the series) and it will release sometime during 2015. To mark its announcement a new trailer has been released seeing two of the series favourites, Scorpion and Sub-Zero going head to head. The trailer also demonstrates interactive environments, giving the indication that it will have similar gameplay elements to that of Injustice: Gods Among Us.
Mortal Kombat X will release for the PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
