Now we can all take a break from playing the boring God of War 3, FFXIII, and BattleField Bad Company 2! Thank God…

Yes, that was sarcasm.

Despite the comment I made above, new DLC soon after the release. Just the way I like it! The “Swarm Pack” that will be released on the PS3, 360, and PC (through steam) will include 4 maps (Docks, Outpost, Machine,Hive) and will playable in the games 6 game modes. The multiplayer aspect is the best part of this game and it no doubt will have people playing it for some time. So it’s great that there’s some DLC already on the way.

Docks is a Marine based level located in the caustic alkali waters of BG-386. It’s an indoor arena with winding corridors and tons of stuff for the Aliens to crawl on.

Outpost is Predator themed and contains lots of jungle foliage . It was the site of the original Weyland-Yutani colony that was abandoned and reclaimed by plant life.

Machine is another Marine based level located in a Refinery. This level looks dark and creepy and offer great vantage points for the Alien and Predator.

Hive is the final level and is located in the center of the Xenomorph (Alien) hive. Creepy already! This level appears to have Facehugger eggs scattered around. Maybe they’ll be some sort of environmental obstacle that players have to watch out for. Wouldn’t that be cool.

The pack ships out on March 18th and will cost 7 dollars (560 MS points.)
