New Battlefield leaked ahead of announcement, released date revealed, alternative WWI setting?
Ahead of the official announcement scheduled at 9pm GMT/4pm EST later today, in-store promotional images have leaked revealing Battlefield 5, well in-fact, it will be called Battlefield 1, for reasons yet known. The images also reveal what should be the pre-order DLC available with the game, called the Hellfighter Pack which will featured the “Harlem Hellfighter infantry regiment.”
While many have hoped that the latest instalment will be set in either World War I or World War II, it is expected that Battlefield 1 will have an alternative history World War I setting, which could be very interesting indeed and it’s a good compromise for those that perhaps want a sci-fi element.
Oh and it appears that the leaked promotional images reveal the release date of Battlefield 1, which is October 18th 2016. However, all will be revealed later today with an official announcement trailer, we can’t wait.
