New Features of F1 2016 Revealed

Codemasters, and Koch Media have just unveiled a brand new in-game trailer for the upcoming F1 2016. The video itself is titled ‘Create Your Own Legend‘, and is just under a minute long. It prioritises all the behind the scenes features, such as the hospitality suite, as well as well as the garage, and last but not least on-track pit lane.

The above features, have been implemented to further establish Codemasters F1 series, as the ultimate simulator. Just like the rest of the title, all will feature customisable options, which are unique to certain aspects of the driver, team, and player’s vehicle. In addition to this, using the pit-lane, will also be a fully manual experience. Players’ will have the ability to control their approach, speed, and most importantly the positioning. And to ensure the highest level of authenticity, all mistakes and violations, will result in race related penalties.

 

Additionally, all of these features have been done to improve title’s career mode, however, some implementations will also translate into multiplayer, which this year will enable the players to compete against 21 unique individuals on 21 different tracks around the world. New additions to the multiplayer component of F1 2016, will be surely welcomed by most, and will definitely extend the title’s shelf life, past the 10 seasons long career mode.

F1 2016 releases on the 19th of August on all three mainstream platforms, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. And all the enthusiasts of the series, will surely be enthralled by the fact that on the same day, a special edition of the title will also be released, and will feature a Career Booster DLC Pack, as well as additional skins for helmets and laptops, which are present throughout the career mode.
