New Shenmue 3 screenshots, PC pre-orders and Development update

 

It has been announced that you will now be able to pre-order Shenmue III for PC and show your support during its development via the Slacker Backer Campaign.  If you backed the Kickstarter campaign by pre-ordering Shenmue III on PS4, then you will be able to switch to PC if you choose and vice versa.

 

Via my Kickstarter newsletter, an update to the development of Shenmue III has been provided.  For example, its main game scenarios are nearly complete, motion capture tests have begun, as well as voicing tests for the voice-cast.

 

 

The games chief developer Yu-San has also said that he and the team and working diligently on the Shenmue III’s mini-games, events and battles and added “I have been absorbed in developing the game and I stay in the studio all night time to time. My life is all about Shenmue day and night.”

 

Some new work-in-progress screenshots have also been provided, which reveals a “rising moon over the temple gate”, a fight breaking out in the market and a familiar (yet miniature) sight.

 

While no exact release date has been provided as of yet for Shenmue III, it is penned in for a late 2017 release for PC and PS4.
