Yu Suzuki was a guest at the Monaco Anime Game International Conference (MAGIC) where he had Shenmue III on display.  On stage Suzuki spoke of all things Shenmue III, but he also had some gameplay and screenshots to show-off (which were also sent to my email as a Kickstarter backer via a newsletter).  With the game currently slated for a 2017 release for PC and PS4, it is still obviously a work-in-progress, but that hasn’t stopped some of the environmental screenshots looking easy on the eye, which you can check out below.

We also have two off-screen videos captured by someone within the crowd (so thank you to whoever captured this footage).  The fly through gameplay is captured with an off-screen camera, but it still gives us an indication on how the development of Shenmue III is progressing.  Video 1, Video 2.

Shenmue III’s recording breaking Kickstarter campaign may be over with, but you can still back its development via the Slacker Backer campaign, however unlike its Kickstarter counterpart, the Slacker Backer campaign does not feature rewards for your support.

As always, we’ll keep you updated on all things Shenmue III and you can read up on its story so far here.
