A new trailer has been released for the much anticipated RPG sequel Nier: Automata.

Focussing on story this time, the trailer briefly introduces us to our group of androids, who are tasked with fighting back aliens that have driven humans from Earth.

It’s a bit of a cheesy trailer, but it gives a little insight into the androids’ struggles, also hinting that there’s a ‘long forgotten truth’ about the world – I’m calling shady business from our human masters (or is that just me being cynical?).

Either way, it looks interesting. But what is even more so, is a 30 minute long gameplay video uploaded on the PlayStation channel which showcases some of the game’s open world features.

You get to see some of the game’s open environments, as well as hear about upgrades, and of course some more of that delightfully fast paced combat, so I’d recommend watching the full video below if you’re interested.

Otherwise, the game is already available for pre-order if you are so inclined to throwing your money at things that aren’t out yet, and will release on the 10th March this year for PlayStation 4, with a PC release yet to be given a solid date.
